Trash & Recycling

Trash: Monday & Thursday
Recycling: Friday
Bulk Items: Must call AAA (703) 818-8222 for appointment. An additional charge may be assessed.

Have all items by the curb not before 4:00 PM the day before pick up. Remove trash and recycling receptacles no later then 10:00am the day after pick up. All trash must be placed in a trash container with a lid that can be secured against wind or animals. Containers can be obtained from AAA Services, 703.818.8222. Damaged lids are generally replaced for free by calling AAA.

Windows

Grates. All windows must have window grates in them. You can order replacement grates from New Panes Creations, Anderson Window, or another vendor.

Doors

Front and Back Doors. The original cluster standards for doors can be special ordered through Lowes brand is Thermatru style number TS296. You can view this product by going to www.thermatru.com. The current understanding is that this door is reasonably priced in comparison to similar doors. Alternatively, doors can be purchased off the self that match our latest door standards.

Paint Colors

Exterior Paint Colors. Our cluster standard for exterior paint color has been matched to a local paint company. Colors are listed below.
Front Doors. Brillian White, Night Horizon 2134-10, Bed of Ferns 1511, and Papaya 957by Benjamin Moore.
Siding. Fairway Oaks 1075, Brilliant White, and Mapel Balley 1057 by Benjamin Moore.
Trim. Putum Ivory by Benjamin Moore. Call Reston Association for additional trim colors.

Light Fixtures

Exterior Light Fixtures. If your thinking of updating your home's exterior light fixtures, well good news! We updated our architectual covenants with this array of new light fixtures ranging in style and price. All of these lights are Reston DRB approved..

Portable Storage Containers

PODs. Fairfax County Zoning Ordinances (Article 10) prohibites the use of PODs for our townhouse community.
